Dr. Chappell and his staff strive to provide their patients with personalized, experienced and ethical care. Dr. Chappell has dedicated himself to excellence in plastic surgery and realizes that a comlete understanding of your unique needs will aid in providing you the most successful surgical outcome. He spends a great deal of time in personal consultation with you in order to best determine how he can aid you towards your goal of an improved sense of your body.

Surgical Facility

To keep consistent with a private and personalized atmosphere, Dr. Chappell performs most of his surgeries at the same faility where the patient has already had his or her initial consult, and he or she is familiar with the environment and educated staff. In order to provide the patient with the current safety standards, Dr. Chappell's state of the art faclity is fully accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc. (AAAASF), is licensed by the State of Maryland and Medicare certified.

Consultation

The patient meets with Dr. Chappell one on one from the very first visit. He dates the time to listen to the patient's concerns as well as performing a meticulous physical exam, keeping the patient's dignity in mind at all times. In addressing the patient's concerns, he keeps in mind the patient as a whole. With patient safety being of utmost importance, Dr. Chappell addresses the patient's medical history as well as the patient's emotional well being. You can be assured that Dr. Chappell and his staff will maintain the strictest confidentiality. The day of the initial consultation, Dr. Chappell's patients are able to discuss the risks and benefits of surgery or procedure, review photos, have digital imaging done, and review the costs in order to make an informed decision. You will leave the office feeling confident and educated with detailed written surgical instructions, brochures and cost analysis. Dr. Chappell spends a great deal of time with each patient in order to best determine how he can aid them toward their goal of an improved sense of their body.

Personal consultations are performed in confidence and allow Dr. Chappell to recommend a specific operative or nonoperative plan for each patient.
