Practice Philosophy

Dr. Feldman takes an individualized approach to facial rejuvenation. For example, some patients only want or only need a neck lift — not a complete face lift. He pioneered the isolated neck lift procedure that includes an improved definition of jawline contours and elimination of the jowl, without having to lift the cheek at the same time. Other patients may only need or want an isolated cheek lift, leaving a good-looking neck as is. So, too, a customized approach is prescribed for the improvement of eyebrow position, the elimination of skin laxity and puffiness of the eyelids, and correction of grooves and dark circles under the eyes – always respecting the patient’s preferences, and always aiming for a very natural looking result.

Practice Specialization

Dr. Feldman’s practice is limited exclusively to cosmetic surgery of the face and neck. He specializes in small scar face lift, neck, lift, brow lift (including endoscopic lift), and eyelid rejuvenation surgery. The access incisions used for all of these procedures are designed to be extremely well hidden, kept as short as possible, and positioned so that the hairline in front and behind the ears are left entirely undisturbed.

Dr. Feldman originated the corset platysmaplasty, a surgical technique used for eliminating the vertical “turkey gobbler” muscle bands that appear at the front of the neck. He also developed special methods for reshaping the soft tissues superficlal and deep to the platysma muscle, and is one of the world’s few surgeons who specialize in treating the unpleasant bulge under the jawline caused by a large or sagging submandibular salivary gland. Dr. Feldman also has expertise in aesthetic surgery of the nose, chin, and ears.

Every year over the past decade, Dr. Feldman had been selected by his peers to be among the Best Doctors in America®, the Top Doctors in America®, and Boston Magazine’s Best Plastic Surgeons. In 2007, he was named Clinician of the Year for lifetime achievements in plastic surgery.

All surgery is performed in the doctor’s private, comfortable, fully-accredited (AAAASF) surgical facility — which is attached to the Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA.
