Our aesthetic plastic surgery practice believes in providing premier quality confidential care in a safe and friendly environment.  We provide the latest state of the art techniques and wish to provide you with the best aesthetic results possible.  Our patients enjoy an enhanced body image as well as a tremendous improvement of self-esteem.  The institute's goal is to not only provide the surgical expertise but to also provide the guidelines for self-care including one's diet and fitness regimen. 

We perform many forms of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery including but not limited to: Ultrasonic Liposuction, Tumescent Conventional Liposuction, Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), Rhytidectomy (face-lift), Blepharoplasty (eye-lift), Collagen/Fat & Botox Injections, all forms of Breast Surgery (reduction, enlargement, post-mastectomy breast reconstruction, breast lift or correction of congential defect), Nasal Reconstruction, Lip Enlargements, Otoplasty (ear), and carry a full line of facial products that include Glycolic Acids, Alpha Hydroxy, Retin-A and many other skin products. Since 1991, we have specialized in ambulatory cosmetic plastic surgery.  We specialize in cosmetic breast surgery including breast augmentation, short-scar breast reduction, breast lifts after child bearing, and an innovative breast reduction procedure known as vertical mammaplasty.  Facelifts, eyelids, nasal surgery, tummy tucks, and liposuction are also specialties.

Cosmetic, Plastic & Reconstructive Procedures

When performed by an experienced surgeon, plastic surgery is safe and relatively painless.  Although each procedure is different, there are certain degrees of risk and uncertainty with all surgical procedures.  During a consultation, Dr. Koo will discuss your procedure and advise you of the potential results and any possible risks that may be involved.

Most procedures are performed in our office which has ambulatory surgical equipment on premise.  We will usually use a local anesthesia for most procedures, for other procedures we will use intravenous sedation, sometimes referred to as "twilight sedation".  For certain procedures it may be necessary to use general anesthesia.  Dr. Koo will discuss the type of anesthesia to be used during your initial consultation.

Surgical Facility

Dr. Koo performs most of her procedures in the hospital or at a state-of-the-art surgical facility. Each facility features a full, operating room and a recovery room. Procedures are performed under intravenous sedation and general anesthesia. Dr. Koo uses a board-certified anesthesiologist in all her major procedures.
