Practice Philosophy

Combining excellence in surgical technique with a major emphasis on optimizing the safety and quality of the total experience, I achieve dramatic, but natural improvement in the appearance of my patients. Every detail of patient care is a focus, from the initial extensive consultation, to the pre-operative preparation, through the surgical procedure, and close, personal, attentive post-operative care. My guiding principles are safety, meticulous attention to details, enhancing patient care, and achieving the patient's goals. During more than 20 years of practice, I have developed an individualized approach that addresses each person's requests uniquely.

Surgical Facility

Pacific Coast Plastic Surgery Center - Certified by the Federal Government and accredited by AAAASF. The facility is not only a state of the art facility, but also a very warm and supportive environment staffed by R.N.'s and using only Board certified anesthesiologists. Safety is our number one concern, and quality care is our goal.

Consultation

Even before the patient arrives in my office, we have started the "enhanced patient care program" that I have developed over the past twenty-five years. A packet is sent to each new patient describing the practice, explaining the consultation, providing information on procedures under consideration, and asking for information that we will use to ensure a safe and optimal surgical experience. My consultations are long and comprehensive, fully explaining the options, advantages and disadvantages of each, risks, pre-operative and post-operative expectations, and answering all questions completely. Patients are then seen by my patient care coordinator, who explains the full "enhanced patient care program," which includes pre-operative skin care and lymphatic massage therapy (where indicated). Consultation fee: $200 and is applied to any surgery charge, but there is no charge for additional visits before or after surgery.
