Practice Philosophy

Plastic surgery is a constantly evolving art, as well as science. Patients deserve to benefit from advances in techniques and technology as well as the best of what has come before. In my practice, I have evaluated and refined both new and older techniques to offer my patients a customized and effective solution to their facial aging and body contouring concerns.

I use minimal-incision facelifts alone for younger patients who wish to avoid any visible scars, and add traditional facelift methods for older patients with true skin excess. Breast augmentation patients are offered a choice of round or anatomical implants and incision location. Body contouring is truly a sculptural technique, not mere fat removal, and tummy tucks are designed for long-lasting results with fine-line scar healing. A comprehensive laser clinic complements our cosmetic surgery practice.

Dr. Lowen specializes in Cosmetic Surgery including:

Cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body: minimal incision brow and facelift, eyelid and nasal surgery, chin implants, fat transfer; liposculpture, abdominoplasty; breast augmentation, minimal scar breast lift and breast reduction.

Comprehensive laser clinic: laser hair removal, tattoo removal, brown and red spot removal, spider veins, wrinkle reduction and laser skin resurfacing, and non-ablative laser skin rejuvenation.

Surgical Facility

Forest-Health South Surgery Center is a fully accredited, outpatient surgical facility. Anesthesia is provided solely by board-certified anesthesiologists.

Consultation

Informational packets and visits to our web site help prepare patients for the consultation. Depending on the procedure, you may meet with our patient educator first, going over your goals and expectations, and view before and after pictures. This is followed by an in depth consultation with me, during which a specific analysis and discussion of your concerns is addressed and an individualized treatment plan is proposed.
